I removed the entire interior with the exception of the dash. The carpet set was made by making patterns with newspapers, tape, Sharpie marker, and a carpet razor. I used Duplicolor Vinyl Spray to refinish most of the surfaces inside the car; I ended up clear coating various parts. Custom repair and cover holders were made for the bottom of the seats before the new covers were placed on the old Recaro seats. I shortened the linkage stick about 2.75 Inches, beveled the edges, and then placed the knob on the stick by tapping it with a rubber mallet followed by filing the knob with liquid nails. The dash cap brought the dash back to life and was simple to install. I replaced the sound system with Pioneer’s 4400 deck, 4x6's, and 6x9's. I purchased the following from local and near by suppliers such as AutoZone, Advanced Auto Parts, Wal-Mart, Carpet Store, JC Whitney, and 20th Street Auto Parts.
